This is a brand new pony size cart  hand Crafted here in our shop in good Ole Tennessee U.S.A.  It is constructed of Poplar Wood, Amish style hard wood. The shafts are 60" long made of  Hickory hardwood,not like some I've seen on the Internet made from flimsy hollowed out thin wall metal that bends too easy. The seat is a full 41" wide and 15" deep. This Cart is made very stout, with 5" wide wood floor boards with plenty of leg room. We decided recently to start manufacturing our own new line of Carts after so many people wanted to trade in the the light weight all metal ones. We designed them with more leg room. We also wanted to let our customers be able to add on extra premium parts that we keep  in stock here in our shop (such as wooden wheels, brass rein rails, brass whip holder, fenders, lights ) so they would be able to use them in the show ring. It  comes complete with heavy springs on the Axles not the little 2 inch coils on the seats like some I've seen.  In the Buggy and Cart business you get what you pay for. If your just starting out and want a  New Cart (we also make Miniature and Cob size Carts),  these are real nice heavy duty carts that we will take back in trade if you later want a 4 wheel buggy, wagon or  wagonette.
